In the beauty world, it’s long been known that Japanese cosmetic brands have THE best mascara. Generally, Japanese women tend to have quite sparse, straight and short eyelashes. But, just like pretty much every woman in world, they like to use mascara to create long, beautiful, curled lashes. So in Japan, mascara performance expectations are high, and Japanese cosmetic companies have to work hard, putting a lot of money into research and development to produce high performance, lengthening and curling mascara products that really work.
The best part is you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get an amazing mascara, in Japan the best ones are definitely found in the drugstore. Here are 5 of the best Japanese drugstore mascaras all under ¥2000!
