One of Japan’s best kept beauty secrets is the amazing brand Suqqu. Suqqu is a high quality, sophisticated skincare and cosmetics brand that epitomises the refined, elegant and radiant brand of beauty that Tokyo women are renown for. Outside of Japan, Suqqu is only available in Japanese Department stores in Taiwan and Thailand, and the world famous Harrods, Selfridges and Fenwick in the United Kingdom.

So, if you are visiting Japan and want to purchase uniquely Japanese, high quality skincare and world leading cosmetics, then the Suqqu counter is only place you need to visit. You won’t be disappointed.

The Suqqu Brand

The Japanese words suuqu-to means “posture with attitude”. Suqqu as a brand echos the Japanese cultural qualities of inner composure and serenity. Aiming to give women a way to nuture self confidence and well being, by taking time to take care of herself and her skin. The cornerstone of the Suqqu brand is it’s gankin or facial core massage technique. In Japan, facial massage is a very important skincare step, and Suqqu has it’s own technique developed to reduce sagging skin (especially cheeks and eyes), improve the appearance of pores and increase blood and oxygen flow. Taking time to take care of your skincare and massage is integral to maintaining radiant and elegant skin as you mature. Suqqu is all about helping you to have amazing skin as you age, perfect for those whom want to age slowly and gracefully. Sounds pretty good to me.

  1. Hello!I am travelling to Tokyo for the first time. How do I get a facial massage with them? Do they offer massages as a service? I can’t find any information on where to get one and would love something, whether at Suqqu or elsewhere. Thanks!

    1. Hi Diti,
Japanese facial massage is amazing and it is incorporated into all facial treatments in Japan. If you are interested my favourite is the facial at Koh Gen Do in Azabu Juban (there is a full blog post and review under Facials). Suqqu do have lesson is facial massage but as far as I can see they are only in Japanese. I will investigate further and hope to write a post about this!
Have a great time in Tokyo and let me know if you need anything else! Alisa
